Me about me:
I’m a freelance animatic editor based in London, experienced in shaping story driven animation. I’ve edited a diverse range of adverts, short films, game trailers and cinematics for 2D, 3D and mixed-media animation, from quirky to educational to emotional.
Over the past 10 years I’ve had the joy and privilege of being involved in multiple viral and award-winning projects across different roles — as animatic/ boardomatic/ storyboard, plate, previs or simply assembly editor — working with and for an eclectic range of studios, directors and clients, including Passion Pictures, BlinkInk, and Disney+ — a selection of which can be found above. The highlight of my career so far has certainly been to lead the editing on both seasons of the BAFTA-nominated Sky Kids series “Ready, Eddie, Go!”, where I was able to contribute not only my editorial expertise but also my own neurodivergent lived experience to shape the style and authenticity of the series in a meaningful way.
I am a passionate storyteller and fast, creative problem-solver with a sharp eye for detail and an intuitive sense for rhythm and timing. Excellent at working independently but thriving in collaboration with a team. Highly organised (you should see my tracking spreadsheets and walla libraries!), adaptable, and deadline-driven. And don’t just take my word for it: below you will find a selection of testimonials from colleagues and peers.
Alongside editing, I bring a strong quality control instinct to every production — catching narrative inconsistencies, factual errors, and unintentional stereotypes before they reach screen, often things that have already passed through several other eyes.
This comes from an unusually strong audio-visual memory — courtesy of my neurodivergence: to me, inconsistencies and continuity errors in scripts or storyboards (even across episodes and seasons) stand out the way a wrong note would in a familiar song. That same attentiveness extends to factual accuracy and unexamined stereotypes that shouldn’t make it to screen, drawing on self-taught knowledge from my various special interests and an ongoing, intersectional approach to self-education around inclusion and representation.
Where it’s useful to production, I’m always happy to be involved early on — reviewing scripts before they’re locked is where I can add the most value, though I’m equally proficient at picking things up as I edit.
Going forward, I’m especially keen to contribute to longer-form projects that align with my personal values, such as the representation of (neuro-)diversity, children’s education & entertainment, and mental health.
‘At home’ in Adobe Premiere, with additional experience in DaVinci Resolve and Avid, as well as working knowledge of Photoshop and After Effects. I’m a passionate and effective autodidact, confident (and enthusiastic) about instantly adapting to new software and workflows.
